Is my AI-built app safe to launch?

Nobody can promise "safe". A shakedown has a principal software engineer check the common pitfalls, like exposed keys, open data and broken access, and many more. You get back a ranked list of what is open, with a fix for each one your own AI can apply.

What "safe to launch" actually means

You shipped something real, fast. That is the point of building with AI. The question is whether a stranger can read or write data they should not, or reach an admin route that skips the check. Those are the findings that turn a "vibe-coded app got hacked" story into yours. A shakedown looks for exactly those.

The tools did their job. A shakedown is the step every serious company takes before real users, payments or investors depend on it. It is a human review of what the AI built, not a judgment on you.

What gets checked

Across the whole app, not just the code:

  • Exposed keys: API keys and secrets in the client bundle, the repo, or the repo history.
  • Open data: records any visitor can read or write, checked at the access rules, not just the code.
  • Broken access: routes and actions that skip the ownership or role check, traced the way a stranger would take them.

And many more of the common pitfalls. The full list, with what you get back for each, is on the what we check page.

What you get back

A ranked report. Each finding is named, shown where it lives, and paired with a fix your own AI can apply. You also get the clean-up that makes your codebase cheaper for AI to keep working in, and ready for your first engineering hire. You can see the shape of it in the sample report. It is from a fictional app, and it says so.

Want it done for you?

I can go through all of it with you

A shakedown is me asking every one of these questions, of your whole app, and handing back a ranked report with a fix your own AI can apply. Quoted up front for the size of your app, fixed once agreed.
