Terms
Terms
The terms for a shakedown, in plain language. Marked for Adam to have checked before launch.
1. What a shakedown is
A shakedown is a principal-led review of an app you built with AI. It is a service: a fixed-scope review, quoted up front by the size of your app, and fixed once agreed. It is not a retainer, a subscription, or ongoing support.
2. What a shakedown is not
A shakedown does not promise that your app is "secure," "hack-proof" or "guaranteed." It tells you what was checked, how, and what you get back — a ranked list of findings, each with a fix your own AI can apply. What a shakedown finds is what it finds; what it does not find is not a guarantee.
3. The quote
Every price on this site is "from" — the starting point for the smallest app in that tier. When you book, you receive a fixed quote for the size of your app, up front. Once you agree to the quote, the price does not move. Work begins only after you agree to the quote.
4. Access to your code
You share your repo with read-only access. Nothing is changed, nothing is deployed, and you keep full control of your code throughout. You may revoke access at any time.
5. What you get back
A ranked report of what was found, with fixes your own AI can apply, and a walkthrough of the report. For the Full Shakedown and Launch-ready offers, the report includes the "engineer ready" clean-up.
6. Confidentiality
What you share with us in the course of a shakedown is treated as confidential. We do not publish your app, your findings, or your details. The sample report on this site is from a fictional app, not a real client.
7. Liability
A shakedown is a review, not a warranty. We are not liable for losses arising from findings that were not made, or from the application of fixes. The fixes are handed back for you — or your AI — to apply; you remain responsible for your own code and its deployment.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The version in force at the time you book applies to your shakedown.
